As summer sneaks past us, you may find yourself thinking about one last trip to the coast, before fall football and sweater weather arrives.  There’s an undeniable serenity that comes from standing along the shoreline, with the wind in your hair and the waves crashing against your feet. The ocean is natures perfect color palette, with its everchanging blues, its sandy beaches and the varying rainbow of color found in seashells, driftwood and beach glass. The light blue greens of beach glass symbolize the clarity and calmness that comes from being surrounded by such beauty in nature.

To help capture the feeling of the coast, in your own home, use light blues with varying shades of deeper blues, crisp whites, with pops of coral of a sunny yellow. Incorporate elements of weathered woods and natural woven grasses, to mimic the relics of the beach.
