The Design Story

Inspired by a timeless, and luxurious aesthetic, we designed this butler’s pantry as a bold, functional extension of the kitchen. The wide plank hardwood floors run continuously throughout both spaces, while the cabinetry in the butler’s pantry sets the space apart from the kitchen with the moody, dark-blue shade Gale Force by Sherwin-Williams. Classic finishes, like the polished nickel latches and pulls, complement the lighter shades seen in the honed Carrera marble counters and matching side splash, as well as the bold mixed marble mosaic backsplash. One side of the galley layout provides ample storage for serving dishes, small appliances, and food items to be tucked away in the nine-foot, floor-to-ceiling hutch. The other side offers counter space ideal for any task, as it is paired with a prep and beverage faucet, farm sink, and a convenient paneled ice maker below.
